On Sunday 12 May, TMF Cake Designs, together with Charmaine from The Haven Emu Park, hosted a special celebration for a wonderful group of mums, and other mother figures, with a Mother’s Day High Tea. It was a wonderful afternoon, with people attending from all around the Central Queensland area, sharing some beautiful food and stunning views, and making wonderful memories.
The event started off with a delightful glass of champagne, which was served to the guests upon arrival. Once everyone was seated and had the opportunity to soak in the view, a beautiful morning tea was served. I loved getting to meet everyone, and I was fortunate to have the opportunity to walk around before the end of the event and introduce myself to all of the guests. I loved hearing their feedback, with everyone saying what an amazing day they were having. I feel so honoured to be able to put on such a special celebration for some very special women.
And of course, I’m honoured to also work with such an amazing team and have the support of such a great team of people. Events like these are not successful without all of the work that goes into them behind the scenes. So I’d like to say a massive thank you to Trevor, Guy, Charmaine, Carol, Savannah and Eva for all of their hard work in helping me make the afternoon such a success. Your work and continued support does not go unnoticed. And a special thanks must go out to The Haven Emu Park for hosting us - it is such a spectacular venue, and we are very lucky to be able to hold these events there.
