Whether it's for a birthday, a wedding, or a special celebration, if you can dream it, Theresa at TMF Cake Designs can make it. But since each custom wedding and celebration cake and desserts is handcrafted and made to order, there are a few things we need you to know so that you get the cake of your dreams.

At our bake studio, every wedding and celebration cake is uniquely crafted with the utmost love, time, quality, and skill. And because each cake is custom-made to match your unique design ideas, size, and schedule, we don’t offer a one-size-fits-all price.

That’s why we start with a Design Call, where we can discuss your vision and requirements in detail. This allows us to provide you with a tailored quote that reflects the personalised nature of your cake.

PLAN AHEAD FOR CUSTOM CAKES

Timings

Due to the intricate details involved in crafting custom cakes and the time required to source specific design elements and ingredients, TMF Cake Designs requires 4 to 6 weeks' notice for custom orders. If your event or celebration is sooner, don't worry! We offer a wide selection of delicious cakes and desserts available for immediate purchase on our website.

How To Order

  • 1. Book a Free Design Call

    All of our Design Calls are conducted via phone or Zoom and can be conveniently booked for the following times:

    • Mondays: 6pm - 8pm
    • Tuesdays: 9am - 4pm or 6pm - 8pm

    You can easily book your Design Call online, and we recommend setting aside 30 minutes to an hour for a comprehensive discussion about your order.

    During your Design Call, we’ll cover everything you need to know about your cake. We’ll discuss the available options, the design and style you envision, various flavors, venue and delivery details, and estimated costs.

  • 2. Follow Up Email

    After your Design Call, I will send you a detailed email summarising everything we discussed, as well as a tailored quote.

    If you’re pleased with the proposed cake design, you’ll be asked to pay a booking fee to secure your custom cake and your event date in my diary. This fee will be taken off your final total amount.

    This commitment enables TMF Cake Designs to proceed with a more detailed design process, including sketches, additional phone consultations, and a whole lot of creative inspiration!

  • 3. Final Agreement

    Once your custom cake design is finalised, I will email you with the complete details, including delivery information and pricing.

    If everything meets your expectations, you’ll receive our Custom Cake Agreement to sign. This signed agreement will serve as confirmation for TMF Cake Designs to commence crafting your dream cake!

A FEW EXTRA NOTES

Flexibility in Design Changes

We understand that ideas can evolve, and we're here to accommodate that! Even after signing off on your cake design, we remain flexible to accommodate changes.

  • For significant changes: Please provide notice at least 1 month prior to your event.
  • For minor adjustments: Please inform us at least 2 weeks before your event.

All change requests must be submitted in writing, and we'll do our utmost to accommodate them, communicating all changes with you along the way.

Cake Tasters

Eager to sample some flavours? We offer Cake Tasting boxes, available for pre-order online. Collection is available during the months of August and March each year. Alternatively, you can purchase any of our cupcakes or cakes online for a taste of our delicious offerings.
